 File too large for upload, created youtube video instead I attempted to use a method often referred to as "miniature effect" in my shooting. In this method the camera person uses a tilt shift lens allong with a lens extension to create a feeling of the entire shot feeling smaller and more compact or in other words like everything for lack of a better term, is miniature in size. It is characterised by a blurring of the surrounding shot while the center focal point is crystal clear and is best used with timelapses of urban scenes where the people looking like ants from high up can seem like simple miniature characters allong with the cars and busses whizzing by and unimaginable speeds. https://youtu.be/-k_hpmouXr4

  https://youtu.be/PsVFB5Rv-2Q I added the starting desk scenes, added a stabilizer and color correction effects to the long bike bridge scene, added stabilizers to the scenes where fire settles down (ending of night scenes), and I made the bike journey more dynamic by interpolating the scenes based on the music, besides I made the bird audio in the very end louder Still time lapses and renewed night scenes with the box, match and raging are missing

 Today we filmed the desk scenes or college scenes. This is gonna be the start of our video, where the maincharacter sits at his desk and get frustrated. This shoot was done by Adam, Jake and Meiya. Adam was the actor / helped with the compositions and ideas for shots. Meiya filmed and thought of the best compositions.    Desk with papers, the main character sits at this desk.  Shoot from behind the camera, to see if the shot was good/ framed well.  Over the shoulder shot. Main character sitting at desk, drawing/ writing.  Same scene, different shoulder.  Desk different scenes. 

Stills clip shoot 2   We were all present at this clip shoot. The main focus of this clip shoot, was to get all the bike scenes that we needed for the final piece.  Adam was the actor and helped with the composition. I filmed with my camera and figured out the compositions. Yanina helped with the compositions too and the shots. Jake filmed some clips with his phone. but they are not on here.  All these stills are from what I filmed. I filmed because in the last shoot, Jake filmed and it was really shaky. So I took over to see if I would be less shaky. It was still a bit shaky, but not as bad.  This is the scene where 'James' ( The name of our main character) puts the box with all the memories on the bike. Planning to burn it later.  The next shots are all the bike scenes we filmed. Here you can see James riding on his bike.   For now I edited a draft version, I marked which scenes are still missing. (The bird audio in the very end might be too quiet Also, I could try a stabilizer. Special effects will probably be applied by Adam, but we will need to discuss that in more details later.)

  The first clip we filmed. It was me, Jake and Adam. Meiya figured out the best compositions with Adam. Adam was also the actor and Jake filmed. Yanina wasn't present at this shoot   The intention was to create a shot of a match that eventually falls into a box and ignites it.  The second thing we filmed was the bridge scene. The intention was for the main character to ride over it, heading towards the beach. However, it was so dark that you couldn't see the person  In this scene, the intention is for the main character to throw the papers into a box, in sync with the music  Scene where the box is on fire  Scene where the fire gets hit with a bat  Scene where the fire is slowly going out 

 This is the place 'beach' where we shot the fire scene.  These are some props we used. The bike, the main character uses. The box that gets lit on fire.  This is the beach from the other side  Place for the bridge scene  Same spot, but different light/ time. 

Characterization of main character in music video Name & Age James Mitchell, 24 years old General info He is working at a regular company - leading a regular, but unhappy life. Why is he miserable & why do papers pile up? James had bigger dreams for his life, but got caught up in adult live's responsibilities. Additionally, his previous relationship broke up in a unpleasant way: He still keeps letters from the ex partner as he can't let go just yet. Moreover James does not earn enough money to pay everything sufficiently: Thus unpaid bills have piled up in his desk. This leads us to the exposition scene. Exposition Scene Music video James sits at his desk, he is surrounded by the pile of papers. He tries to hold all the pent up emotions within, all the anger, disappointment and frustration. Usually, he pretends to be okay (warm sunset tones), he fakes his state (Four eyes and no brain). The camera angle supports the claustrophobic feeling James is going through though: ...
