In class, we tried to decipher the lyrics of the chosen song, but are still faced with problems.

Jake as a native English speaker derived the most, which comes down to:

From that alone I derive an interpretation:

singer seems to be frustrated/ disappointed with a person

that person seems to not take proper responsibility for his/ her action and what he/ she is saying

that person might pretend to be intelligent/ morally correct/ sophisticated (four eyes, peopel with glasses are supposed to be intelligent) 

but that person has no brain - so it's just fake

Besides, "Four eyes" is an insult.
Clearly the relationship between the singer and person is complicated.
